Budapest Forum 2026: Strengthening Social Dialogue and Trade Union Capacity Building in Central and Eastern Europe

The forum addresses the future of trade unions and social dialogue in Central and Southeastern Europe. It focuses on cooperation between trade unions and civil society actors, and on how such cooperation and a functioning social dialogue can strengthen democratic resilience and social cohesion.

High-level panels are planned, bringing together representatives from trade unions, civil society and European institutions.

The event is organised in cooperation with ILO/ACTRAV, CETUN and the ÖGB European Office.
